Head of School's Welcome

Thank you for your interest in our school. We are a happy, friendly, caring school with a well established reputation for providing an excellent education. We pride ourselves on a strong partnership between home and school because we know that 'Learning Together' is the most successful way of developing pupils to their full potential.

We firmly believe that the two best things that we can give our pupils are 'roots and wings'. We want them to feel firmly grounded and safe in our school environment so that they are happy to take risks and be adventurous and resilient in their learning.

We use a 'Learning Challenge' curriculum which stimulates our pupils' lively, enquiring minds and encourages them to become independent, lifelong learners. Throughout their school life with us, pupils are provided with a rich variety of learning opportunities, including educational visits and visitors within school. Our aim is to develop pupils who are confident, enthusiastic and motivated to learn. We have high expectations for all our children and this means that they reach their full potential both academically and socially.

We have an experienced, talented school team who are well established and work together to create an environment where everyone is valued.

We do not have a particular religious affiliation, but the school's values and ethos are broadly Christian in character.
