DM Football Coaching
Dan Mumford runs a football/multi-skills club after school on a Friday between 3.15p.m. and 4.30p.m. in the school hall or outside (weather permitting). Children can join following their fifth birthday. There is a charge for this club and more details are available from the School office.
Song Club (Bawnmore Nightingales)
In Year 2 children are invited to join our after school Song Club which runs on a Thursday between 3.15 and 4 p.m. led by Mrs Maloney and Mrs Burkill. The children perform in musical festivals, county concerts and visit residential homes for the elderly during the school year. There is a voluntary charge of £1 per week.
Pupils in Year 1 and 2 are invited to join our Cheerleading/Dance Club which operates after school on a Tuesday between 3.15 and 4.15 p.m. in the hall. This club is run by Metcalf Multi-Sports, please see their letter for further information.
In Year 1 the children are given the opportunity to join our gardening club and get involved in growing plants, vegetables and flowers. This club operates on a Thursday from 3.15—4.00p.m. We believe that involving children in growing food is beneficial for their future health and well being. We are enabling them through these experiences to grow into young people who care about the food we eat and their environment. We are an Eco-school and have achieved our Bronze award. The club is run by Mrs Bonser and Ms Towsend. There is a nominal charge of £1 per session.
Tang Soo Do
Tang Soo Do classes are run by John Dove and take place from 8.00—8.45a.m. on Thursday mornings in the hall. Tang Soo Do is a martial art and children have fun whilst learning a new skill. Please contact the school office for more details and the current fee.
This club is run by Stephanie Wesson. It operates on a Tuesday from 3.15—4.15p.m. in class RS. Spanish Club aims to make learning Spanish as enjoyable but educational as possible using a variety of activities including games and songs. Pupils in Year 2 can join our Cookery Club which operates on Tuesdays from 3.15—4.00p.m. Children work alongside parents/carers or grand parents to create tasty dishes which promote healthy eating. This club is run by Mrs Orr and Mrs Wigginton and there is a nominal charge of £1 per session.
This club is led by Mrs Towers on a Monday between 3.10 and 4.15 p.m. in class 2W. Pupils take part in a variety of ICT activities to develop their skills. The club is offered initially to pupils in Year 2 and has a nominal charge of £1 per session.
