Football Development Service
The Football Development Service run two very popular sessions after school on a Wednesday and a Friday between 3.15p.m. and 4.30p.m. in the school hall. Children can join following their fifth birthday. There is a charge for this club and more details are available from the School office.

Song Club (Bawnmore Nightingales)
In Year 2 children are invited to join our after school Song Club which runs on a Thursday between 3.15 and 4 p.m. led by Mrs Maloney and Mrs Burkill. The children perform in musical festivals, county concerts and visit residential homes for the elderly during the school year. This club is free of charge.
Pupils in Year 2 are invited to audition for our Cheerleading Club which operates after school on a Tuesday between 3.15 and 4.00p.m. Our squad, the “Bawnmore Blackbirds”, have been very successful in the past winning the Warwickshire Eastern area Pom Dance competition five times and becoming county champions in April 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and again in 2014! The Club promotes exercise, co-ordination and fun! It is run by Mrs Sanson and Mrs Nown and is free of charge.
In Year 1 the children are given the opportunity to join our gardening club and get involved in growing plants, vegetables and flowers. This club operates on a Thursday from 3.15—4.00p.m. We believe that involving children in growing food is beneficial for their future health and well being. We are enabling them through these experiences to grow into young people who care about the food we eat and their environment. We are an Eco-school and have achieved our Bronze award. The club is run by Mrs Bonser and Mrs Burton and is free of charge.
“PLAY ON!” Drama Club is led by Yve Harford-Brown and takes place after school on a Wednesday between 3.15 and 4.15p.m. Sessions include drama games, interactive storytelling, improvisation, mime, dance and vocal tuition to help children develop their confidence and creativity. Tang Soo Do
Tang Soo Do classes are run by John Dove and take place from 8.00—8.45a.m. on Thursday mornings in the hall. Tang Soo Do is a martial art and children have fun whilst learning a new skill. Please contact the school office for more details and the current fee.
This club is run by Stephanie Wesson and is open to all children. It operates on a Tuesday from 3.15—4.15p.m. Spanish Club aims to make learning Spanish as enjoyable but educational as possible using a variety of activities including games and songs. Please contact the school office for more details and the current fee.
Pupils in Year 2 can join our Cookery Club which operates on Wednesdays from 3.15—4.00p.m. Children work alongside parents/carers or grand parents to create tasty dishes which promote healthy eating. This club is run by Mrs Orr, Mrs Wigginton, Mrs Mellor and is free of charge.
This club is led by Mrs Davey and Mrs Orr on a Tuesday between 3.10 and 4.15p.m. Pupils take part in a variety of ICT activities to develop their skills. The club is offered initially to pupils in Year 2 and is free of charge.
We run two multi-skills clubs during the week and these are open to all pupils on a first come, first served basis. On Tuesday morning between 8 and 8.45 a.m. and on Thursday between 3.15 and 4.15 p.m. The clubs are run by Mr Huddlestone from the Harris School Sport Partnership and Ashley Metcalfe multi-sports. Both clubs are free of charge.
